Forged Steel Double Flange Crane Rail Wheels

Heavy-duty forged steel double flange crane rail wheels for overhead cranes, transfer carts, and industrial tracks. Built for strength, stability, and wear resistance.

Category:

Our Forged Steel Double Flange Crane Rail Wheels are specifically engineered for industrial applications requiring precise guidance, high load capacity, and long service life—such as overhead cranes, transfer carts, gantry cranes, and other rail-guided handling systems.

Each wheel is forged from premium-grade carbon or alloy steel, then subjected to quenching and tempering (Q&T) heat treatment to achieve superior hardness, tensile strength, and fatigue resistance. The double flange design ensures enhanced lateral stability and accurate wheel tracking, especially in applications involving curved rails or frequent directional changes.

Precision machining guarantees strict dimensional tolerances, smooth rolling contact, and compatibility with a wide range of crane rail profiles (e.g., QU70, QU100, or custom specifications). Our wheels can be supplied as monoblock or with integrated bearings, hubs, or custom mounting interfaces, depending on your system requirements.

All wheels are thoroughly inspected using ultrasonic and magnetic particle testing, and can be further customized with surface hardening (e.g., induction hardening) to improve wear resistance under extreme operating conditions.

Key Technical Features:

  • Forged from high-strength carbon or alloy steel

  • Double flange profile for enhanced track alignment and stability

  • Heat-treated for increased hardness and impact resistance

  • Precision-machined for optimal rail contact and minimal vibration

  • Suitable for cranes, trolleys, transfer cars, and heavy-duty rail systems

  • Available in standard or custom diameters and bore designs

  • Optional surface hardening for extended wear life
