Carbon steel Slip On Flanges are one of the most popular types of flanges used in pipeline construction. A carbon steel slip on flange is a method of connecting pipes, valves, pumps, and other equipment to form a piping system. A slip on flange is slightly different from a weld neck flange in that it has a lower hub, which allows it to be slid over the end of the pipe before being welded in place.
